Members of the Palm Coast Duplicate Bridge Club,

 

Special games this week: Grand National Team Game (GNT) Wednesday, Swiss teams with extra points. If you don’t have a team and want to play let me know.

 

Except for Wednesday, we have our normal game schedule this week. Saturday, I’m fixing chili with hot dogs and a tossed salad for lunch. Come and enjoy.

 

Classes: Monday morning class at 9:30 continues with chapter 3. I will have an example of the “holdup play”. Thursday morning we have beginning bridge with Gerry at 9:30.

 

Last Friday we had 15 ½ tables, our largest game on a Friday. It’s one of my favorite games because it supports our newer players getting started in duplicate bridge. We always need mentors and if you are available let Alice Rumana or me know.

 

Most of you know that voting has started for three replacement members for our board. Ballots are available at the club. The last day you can vote is next Monday, January 30.

 

We are fortunate to have a club that supports our games and activities. We always want your input; we have a new suggestion box beside the director’s desk for your ideas and suggestions.
